CAP GO MEH CELEBRATION IN JAKARTA'S CHINATOWN > 포토뉴스

Tatung (those who possessed the spirit of god) followed Cap Go Meh carnival, which was attended by thousands of tionghoa people in Chinatown, Jakarta, Sunday, February 21, 2016. Cap Go Meh is the last series of the period of the Chinese New Year celebration for the tionghoa communites all over the world , which is celebrated with a great banquet and carnival along one kilometers to carry statues of gods and other cultural attractions. Cap Go Meh is a Hokkien language, namely Cap = ten, Go = five, and Meh = night, which means the Chinese New Year celebration lasts for fifteen days. (JakartaBizWeekly/Aditya)
