Uno has officially become the Governor of Jakarta for the period 2017-2022 replacing Djarot Saeful hidayat who served  as Governor after the previous Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or known as Ahok, was involved in a blasphemy case and had to be sentenced to 2 years imprisonment.
