Jakarta, August 1st : President of the Republic of Indonesia, JOKO WIDODO provides guidance to 5,000 entrepreneurs in the last socialization of the implementation of Tax Amnesty legislation in Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran. In an effort to repatriate the funds of the taxpayer, which is kept abroad, Indonesian government applying the tax amnesty laws for taxpayers who want to withdraw their funds to be kept in the country in return that the government may impose a tax at a lower rate. This policy is believed to have many benefits, such as increased tax revenue for the state, increasing foreign exchange reserves, improve the economy, accelerate the construction of infrastructure, and even believed to be able to strengthen the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar.
