BMKG URGED THE PUBLIC BEWARE OF EXTREME WEATHER > 포토뉴스

Officers from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG) shows a map of the intensity of rain in parts of Indonesia in BMKG booth while attending the Climate Festival 2016 at the JCC, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, February 1, 2016. Based on the observations BMKG to the atmosphere, which indicates the air pressure low in northern Australia which led to increased formation of rain clouds in Indonesia, BMKG predict the intensity of rain in parts of Indonesia, including Jakarta, will increase until the next week. Rain is predicted to fall in the morning and evening with varying intensity ranging from moderate to heavy. Therefore, BMKG urge the public to be aware of the possibility of extreme weather.
