Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) extend the visit hours to Monas until 22:00 p.m for Tuesday - Friday and till 00:00 a.m for Saturday - Sunday and holidays, to attract the number of both local and international travelers who want to enjoy the Jakarta atmosphere in the night. Ticket prices to the museum is Rp. 5,000 for adults and Rp. 2,000 for children, and to get to the top of Monas ticket price is Rp. 10,000 for adults and Rp. 2,000 for children.
